Right now I have the option to either build my own or buy one of these for 50$:
I've heard lots of smack talk about ddrgame.com metal pads and I wanted to know if I could either:
a) gut out the pad and replace the sensors
or
b) possibly fix the sensors or mod it
Would I get anywhere close to the feel of an itg pad with this thing?
Will I get MUCH better performance with a homemade metal dance pad?

PS: The guy is telling me that there's latency issues with the pad and the bar is shaky.
