    Gotham

    New TV show is in development by WB to air on Fox. It'll star a young Detective James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department, apparently before having met Batman. No other news is available.

          could be interesting. it'll probably end with him meeting batman for the first time.

              I'm hoping they get their shit together and have Batman as a presence within the show, especially if they don't ever actually show him. It should work kind of like Gotham Central, where Batman exists and does stuff but the average police folk never see him. Maybe by the beginning of season 2, they realize there's definitely a vigilante out there and they start trying to bring him in while still constantly never actually getting to see him. Series would end when Gordon meets Batman face to face for the first time to work together (and Batman would still only be seen in shadow).

                  You guys should watch Batman Year One, it explains how Gordon got started in Gotham and how he met Batman.
