    1984

    just started re-reading this. i was younger when i first read it, and i liked the book then, but re-reading now i can relate to it more. Orwell's vision is more relevant than ever. i suggest everybody pick up a copy and start reading it, even if you have read it before.



    this is the place to post any discussions about 1984

      i read brave new world and thought it was good and i've gotten like six recommendations to read 1984 since then

      i wonder if i can get it on kindle for free

                              It really irks me the way he uses "have got to..." instead of "have to". It's one thing to have it in dialogue to be colloquial, but it just reads weird throughout the rest of the text.
