    Need some criticism for this.

    This isn't mine. It's a friend of mine's song. Well, my friend made the beat, his friend rapped it.

    He wants to know what he can improve on and such because this is something they really want to do with their lives. Their first EP is halfway done and it's not too bad so far.

      It seems like he is trying to sound like someone he is not.... I would reconsider the lyrics or his message... or tone... but really he is coming off like a 14 year old kid who spends too much time on 4chan.



      Love the beat though, love it a lot. I'd like to see either someone else rap over it, or the rapper redo the vocals.

              I have no idea what to say about this.

              If the vocals could be lower, rather than mid and whiny, it'd sound a bit better. The beat's good, but it's the vocals that are the problem.

                  The beat is fine, the vocals could use some work. I listened to "yeahm" as well, and there was a ~50 second gap between two different sections of vocals. Improve the rapping, and keep the beats steadily at this quality.

                  I can't help him with the rapping. His flow matches the beat pretty well, but there's just something about either the sound or the lyrics that doesn't quite click with me.

                  Take this with a grain of salt, I have no music experience outside of junior high choir.

                          I honestly agree with you guys here. The vocals do need to be a little different, but he's only 15 so I don't think his voice will be changing anytime soon.

                          And lol, Xiz. He doesn't go on any messaging board websites or any of that but I see where you're coming from.

                              You know? I actually didn't mind the vocals that much. The lyrics weren't that fantastic but he did a pretty good job of making it sound like it belonged with the music. As previously said, the beat is great.
