    KTVU in Oakland Calif. fell for a Bart Simpson-esque racist joke when they reported four “confirmed” pilot names of Asiana Flight 214, which crash-landed in San Francisco International Airport on Saturday. The newscaster read the names aloud during a broadcast, but the station has since apologized:
    Not that it was really a big deal, more of a media frenzy. Plane went down at SFO last week (in case you were under a rock or something this last week), and with only two deaths and comical investigation about how a fire truck might have ran over one of the casualties, it wasn't going to be too long before something like this happened.

    It's always entertaining to see who the first person to make a joke out of an accident like this one.

      It's funny because my friend called me to tell me about it almost the moment it was publicized and I thought another terrorist attack had happened because of how sensationalized the broadcast was from his perspective. 2 min later I'm asking myself what he was freaking out about.
