    Video from my hometown went viral? Opinions?

    It may be graphic to some people, it of a deer who some dude hit with her truck then drug it and burnt it.

    What the actual fuck? Who does that shit?

    What are you opinions on this? Is this animal cruelty? The RCMP have said that they are not going to do anything because it isnt a criminal offence.

                      poisoning dogs isn't cool

                      my main gripe with this video are the idiotic statements of people saying, "he should have went straight to the authorities", "he should be thrown in jail"
                      1) i guess that means every. single. person. who hits any animal on the highway should immediately call 911 and say, "omg i hit an animal omgomg hurry"
                      2) every. single. person. who hits an animal on the highway should be thrown in jail.

                      sorry man it's just another silly video on the internet. far worse things happening in the world etc.

                      p.s. i don't mean to stir up arguments and such. just my opinion.

                          This guy was a dumb drunk.

                          Animal cruelty? Maybe.... but if it was badly injured and he drugged it before setting it on fire, then no. Sometimes people put animals out of their misery.

                                  But in response to 1), If you hit an animal in BC you are responsible to call the Conservation Officers and tell them where and when so they can come clean up the mess, maybe not 911, but you are supposed to notifiy the proper authorities.

                                      the deer is already dead. If he burnt it then what does it matter? you can't kill something twice.

                                                      He's apparently driving drunk, potentially kills an animal because of drunkness, chains animal to car and drags it around, sets it on fire, expresses sadistic feelings towards it, records it all

                                                      hopefully it was dead before being dragged around and set on fire

                                                      i'm not "upset", but it's rather disgusting
