Not that specific set-up, but a set-up wherein the roles are completely randomized through probability distribution and we can end up with 2 seers and 2 masterwolfs or other shit like that. The idea here being the game is inherently balanced based on the way roles are distributed, but no one knows what roles are out there, except wolves who have a sense that humans have 1,2,3, or 4 roles based on what roles they received.
And remove serial killer because that's too complicated of a balancing technique that the original designer injected.
I can develop a more approachable C9++ set of roles&rolls.
yea i've been liking the looks of that game since you mentioned it a while ago. games like that are a lot of fun, been playing a lot on the poker forums but those people are just insanely good :\
anyways V, cuz i don't really care to read other ideas and it's obv a good game
they run multiple at a time, and there's other games in the subforum too but i'm sure you can figure out which ones are twg haha (vanilla games, mishmashes, turbos, stuff like that :P)
oh i just wanted to note i want to play, but i will help someone willing to host to create a balanced set-up, so we need a host first
essentially this game will have the chance of (rougly, depending on size):
seer(1,1+1-shot seer,2,2+1shot seer)
guardian(same)
wizard(same)[wizard is a pure roleblocker/guardian at the same time]
masterwolf(1)
seerwolf(after MW 1-shot SW, SW, SW+1-shot SW)
and what roles wolves have is determined by how many roles humans get, which is determined by a sequence generator. the most valuable distribution for humans is 3 different roles + 1-1shot role, but when you have two of the same role it typically increases in value (esp. wizard)
since FFR hasn't seen wizard before, a wizard places someone in a protective bauble whereby they can't by killed AND they can't activate their roles. when the wizard is in the game it is typically true that wolves must chose one person in their team to send in the kill. if a person is put in a bauble and they were a wolf who both had a power and sent in the kill, no one dies and that wolf seered no one. it blocks both wolf kills and wolf powers, but also blocks human powers. this is a balanced role because the fact that no one died could either be attributed to a.) them being placed in a protective bauble or b.) them being a wolf who sent in the kill. it's pretty much the coolest role ever invented in TWG, and in mafia is called "Jailkeeper" or "Warden"
keep ur head up or down whatevers most comfortable idk but ya i repsect u cuz u respect others and we all have opinions to share, so respect one another and keep being urself or someone else watever
