I don't think inactivity is direclty linked to roles. It's linked to personality and interest in the game. People want to play on their own terms.

Yeah, will have to agree with Fiction on that one. One can have the MOST AWESOME ROLE EVER but if one doesn't have the time or the will to play then it doesn't matter that it is the MOST AWESOME ROLE EVER.

A mystery game, eh? I could make one since I was already planning on doing so but I don't know if I'll make it in time.

I propose a basic game. Id need
12 players

1 cursed psychic (will die BY day 3)
1 guardian
2 masons who do not know the other blues

5 greens

1 lonewolf with seer abilities & 1 vigi
2 regular wolves

Kraut, you don't mention this, but i'd assume your game would also be no cardflipping correct?

The Monsters
Alpha - Can choose to take control over his teammate's voting power via pm to the host. He can then place them in any order he pleases, this will not be listed in the final vote tally.
Chameleon - Can choose to be seered any color of his choosing at the start of the game.
Beast - Choice for the night kill takes priority over the selections teammates have placed.

The Blues
Guardian - Can choose to protect any one player at night, but cannot guard the same target twice in a row.
Seer - Standard seer role, but is not allowed to come out in the thread.
Deathbane - One time immunity to any killing blow.

The Purples
Psychopath - Objective is simply to kill. When the psychopath participates in killing a blue they gain their power for one phase. When they participate in a kill on a monster they receive a one-time vigi. When they participate in killing a normal green they get +1 added to their vote for the following phase.
Town Fool - Objective is to cause as much disruption as possible. Once per phase the town fool can choose to distract a target, which will delay their role from taking effect until the following phase. If the target is guarded, the target will then be immune to lynches for the next phase. This player wins by default so long as they use their ability.
Survivor - Chooses their alignment at the start of the game and wins with that team's victory condition. Will always seer purple regardless.

jTWG here people. We have a decent number of newer players that are getting put into games too complicated for them. RPS should be evidence of that.

Kraut's game is the best suited one for a jTWG. So that's my pick.
