I have two options for you that we've submitted in FFYa.
Rock Paper Scissors
12 players.
Rocks: win when all of the Scissors have been eliminated.
Paper: win when all of the Rocks have been eliminated.
Scissors: win when all of the Papers have been eliminated.
Each of the three main factions are masons and each of the three factions have the same three roles. Vigilante, Guardian, and Psychic.
Vigilante: Each night the Vigilante may target a player for a kill. However, if the target is not a member of the team that the player must kill to win the game, the kill is unsuccessful.
Guardian: Each night the Guardian may target a player to protect them from being killed. However, the Guardian may not guard themselves, and they also cannot guard the same player two nights in a row. If the Guardian attempts to guard a player on the team that the Guardian needs to kill to win, the guarding attempt will fail.
Psychic: The Psychic receives a PM report from the host every time a player dies. The report tells who died and their allegiance.
There are also three "greens" who are unrelated to the Rocks, Papers, or Scissors. Unlike the factions, each green does not know who the other greens are. Greens win when each of the three Vigilantes die and will be notified when this occurs via PM from the host.
----
Night events are rendered in this order:
#1: Guards.
#2: All Kills simultaneously.
#3: Death reports for the Psychic.
Each day will last [at least] 72 hours. Night phases will be [at least] 24 hours. Normal rules regarding phantoms and instalynches. Because of the win conditions and the way kills are rendered, it is possible for more than one team to win simultaneously, and in that case, each win should be considered a complete, proper win and not be considered as a "tie" between competing teams. However, for a team to win, at least one player from that team needs to be alive at the end of the phase in which they won.
Five Teams
15 players.
Three people per team. A beats B, B beats C, C beats D, D beats E, E beats A.
The number of players in the team determines what abilities they can choose to use during the night phase. If all three players are alive they get to seer, guard or kill. If only two players of a team are alive they only get to guard or kill. If only one player remains he only gets to kill. If no player remains the team gets to be dead.
The objective of the team and it's members is to kill the team they beat and survive the game. We do this through night phase kills, if any, and day lynches.
The mechanics of the night part actions are easy. Teams get to seer anyone outside of their team. Guard anyone but the people on that's trying to beat them. Kill anyone.
Teams may only pick one action per night phase should they have an option.
I'm curious to see what would happen here with the 12 player rock paper scissors game. Problem is that FFYa players know what I did when I played it and was wondering if the same would happen here.
I'm not entirely sure we're ready for a "turn the game on it's head" style of game. Especially when a lot of people are still trying to learn the normal side of the game.

If this is accepted by some act of God, it likely wouldn't be for a while that I'd host it. Schoolwork is a bit heavy at the moment, so I'd probably wait until after another game or two is finished.
Popular Hostage
The story would work like this.
There are 12 randomly chosen civilians. These people are kidnapped, blindfolded, and brought to a remote building away from most civilization. They are all held hostage by a large, underground terrorist organization. During all the mess, the terrorists hide 4 of their agents among the people. During the "day phase", the hostages must decide among themselves who the terrorists are in the group. When a majority vote is reached, the victim is executed publicly to the group, and removed. During the "night phase", the terrorists put bags over everyone's head, and stuffs their ears with plugs. The undercover terrorists, through motion, choose who will be killed. If the majority votes on the same person on one "day phase" the phase will end immediately, and the "night phase" will begin then.
The game is finished in two ways:
1) If the number of undercover terrorists is identical to the number of civilians, the terrorists win.
2) If all the undercover terrorists are killed, the remaining civilians win, and are freed.
Specializations:
Guardian Angel: This civilian is capable of taking a bullet for another civilian, obviously at the cost of their life. They can choose only one civilian every "night", and they cannot choose the same person twice.
The Teller: The Teller is a civilian capable of seeing during the "night phase" the role, or character, of one player, each "night". If the Teller comes across the Leader, the Leader will be described as a civilian.
The Leader: The Leader is, quite literally, the Leader of the terrorist organization. The Leader is unable to be detected by the Teller, and counts as two terrorists while he is alive. Therefore, if the terrorists kill enough civilians with no casualties, they will only need to bring the numbers down to 5, rather than 4.
"Day Phases" will last a minimum of 48 hours, while "Night Phases" will last a minimum of 24.
edit: yes, it's jTWG.

Ok I got a fun one for jTWG and ppl already said theyd like it, so vote 5 times for mine so i can start signups right away.
spring break: fun in the sun!!!
16 players
3 wolves, 1 master wolf
1 psychic
1 guard
1 vigilante (with 1 time power)
9 humans
and upon killing of the first wolf,an item that gives whoever gets it a 1 time seering ability is randomed among the remaining players
Hahahahaha, Rock Paper Scissors. Just by the name it is awesome, but I'm not sure if it is the right time to play a faction game. I mean, this is the second game in the TWG revival!
It would be different to see how a faction game would work with the players knowing who are their team members (with the exception of the greens). I'm used to finding the teammates, but I guess this can work too.
------------
I think the best type of game would be one where it is more complicated than the most recent one, but not that complicated. So I submit this little thing:
14 players:
Wolf Assassin (Doesn't know partners, nor the wolves know who this is. Can kill every night, if both wolf groups sends a kill, Assassin's vote gets priority and the second group's kill is voided) Wolf Seer
Wolf
Seer
Drunken Seer (gets incorrect results. Red -> Green / Green -> Red / Blue -> Random) (Doesn't know his results are wrong) Coroner (knows the role of the player that dies every phase)
Eight humans
Of course I think there needs to be some balance here. So recommendations are more than welcome!
16 players
3 wolves, 1 master wolf
1 psychic
1 guard
1 vigilante (with 1 time power)
9 humans
Master Wolf?
Why the Master Wolf if there is no Seer? Unless the Psychic only receives the color of the dead instead of the number of wolves alive. In that case it is okay.
