    Kao Megura/Chris MacDonald passes away

Apparently he wrote one of the all-time best FAQs for FFVII, as well as FAQs and such for many other games.

Read more about it on GameFAQs' homepage or here.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Yeah, that's a shame, do you know how he died?

I remember using his massive FF VII guide to complete some of the side quests in that game, back when I actually used to use GameFAQs for the guides.

'Tis a sad day for the video game FAQ and guide writing world.
