The fast parts on the keyboard need humanization/slurring imo. Oh look now the song is dubstep. Maybe make the drum fills at 1:32 and 1:52 (or just the first one) end with some intense snares and crashes? Feels a bit anticlimactic to just drop off. I enjoyed listening.

It's not dubstep.

I'm thinking of reworking the bassline all together though, it just seems to "rough."

What acoustic drums are you using? Toontracks stuff causes my DAW to crash as well but I have workarounds for their later products.

The drums in that track are Kontakt 5's Studio Drummer

I also use Abby Road with Kontakt, those are great too.
