    so this is why iidx is ****ing stupid

    the newest iidx is tricoro, right
    so when the game was first released, THERE WASN'T AN OMES
    there was an extra stage, it's this awesome piece o work by technorch:


    so then, the real extra stage system got revealed, it's called
    get ready for this
    LEGEND CROSS
    yeah idk
    but basically you have to do 10 dumb ass ****ing unlock requirements (they range from a simple point minimum to passing a song with a raw score of exactly 573)
    each one unlocks half of a crystal, and each completed crystal unlocks gay mash-up shit like this:


    and when you beat all five of them, what do you get? dear ****ing god it's a diavolo sequel
    (that's right people already have bms files of this shit)

    now keep in mind
    this is still a ****ing extra stage
    in order to get the omes, you have to get a ****ing aaa on this shit
    and guess what? it's some 212 bpm bs by ryu

                  I blame the fandom. They keep one upping konami and showing off insane scores. The music is usually to fault because konami appeals to their fanbase, albeit at the detriment to newcomers.

                  Also, here's Plan 8's chart. Yay.


                  Song's nice, but this chart is ass. Also playing this song relocks Thor's Hammer too. Oh no...

                  And the whole legend cross thing is supposed to be for "crossovers", thus the heavy use of sampling and mashups.

                                  Also, I think only two or so persons have managed to play the OMES. It's ridiculously hard to even reach the OMES.
