    New Song: Another Chance

    Hey all!

Still redoing older songs, and I'm always working towards doing better mixing. That has always been a big struggle for me. Anyway, here's my most recent one which I'm going to continue working on in the future. Please give me some constructive criticism on what you think could use improvement!

I liked your vocals a lot! The melody and lyrics fit very well with the music

Some of the drum snare velocities were inconsistent! You might be going for a more humanized/natural drumming back track but the varying volumes grabs my attention away from the great melodies you have going.

A suggestion for the piano and percussion: Since a lot of the music is dead in the center and you don't have many things to pan (like, you can't pan the vocals or the drums entirely), how about putting the LEFT HAND of the piano slightly panned to the left (like 10-20%) and the RIGHT HAND to the right (10-20%). You can't pan the Snare or Kick, but you can pan the Toms or the Hats a tad bit off center to create a more dynamic sound.

Your vocal harmonies are great! They weave together well, though they blend into your lead vocal track on the same realm of audio. Consider adding a bit of stereo expansion to your back up vocal track to give it a fuller sound during the chorus!

Other than that, I really like your sound! You've got something great going here.
