The radio station at my university focuses mostly on playing music from "underground" artists and spread more awareness of them. Avoid video game soundtracks.
I already have a few songs, but if you guys have any artists/songs you'd like to share of people that aren't in the mainstream, then go ahead -- just make sure it isn't from big companies like APM Music.
By the way, a good way of determining "underground" in this case would be songs that don't appear on top 200 billboards, etc.
