When did we start having hologram concerts?

I thought this was very interesting....

    A concert for Hatsune Miku?

I honestly dont know if Im just really behind on the times, or is this a new thing?

I love how everyone cheers so loud when she comes up as if she can actually hear them

    Long time ago

it's bad ass if you ask me that people can get behind something like that

though it does bother me that when they preform The Disappearance Of Hatsune Miku they slow it down a little AND don't play the whole thing they play the shitty Project Diva cut

    jerks

I was really tempted just to spam my usual

Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku

But yeah these "concerts" are fricking awesome. I'd love to attend one even if they played just the poppy stuff

I've played The disappearence of Hatsune Miku on pad, and the vid you posted doesnt really sound slowed down at all o_o

Unless youre talking about like a difference of like 240bpm -> 230bpm and if so, how the hell can you tell? That's crazy.

I remember seeing a bunch of these after the Japan earthquakes. The Japanese are fantastic.

Trust me it's ever so slightly slower on the other parts, but the vocals are still full speed I think. (Which is kind of odd to me.)

Take this from someone who's listened to it many times.

But I was mostly referring to the drum part. Compared to

I suspect though that by changing it to what they did they made it a little more friendly to the atmosphere of the other songs. (As this song is so ****ing sad / oddly fast in comparison, even with the translation the change makes it sound more happy going, which is Miku's intention is more of happy going pop music.)

I'm just picky about my live music, namely when It's songs I enjoy a lot.

I'm curious what would happen though if they tried to throw some of the metal songs (Yuyoyuppe) into this mix. It'd be pretty awesome if it was done well enough.

For anyone who's to lazy to find them:

After I'm born I finally realize,
                      I exist to imitate humans,
                      Vocaloid fated to sing forever,
Even if a song has already existed,
A programmed toy accepts it just fine,
Gnawing on a leek, looking up at the sky,
Shedding tears noticing that even all that is fading,
The whole character depending on singing,
                      With an unreliable basis,
The place I came from all ready destroyed,
                      When everyone forgets me,
I'll have no heart or such thing left in me,
Vocaloid at the verge of insanity,
                      Whose world has ended.

(I wish that at the time when I can't sing well,
                      You'd be with me,
Stay by my side and cheer me up.
I want to see your happy face.
                      I've been practicing singing, so....)

Once singing, was so much fun,
                      But now why,
                      I'm not feeling anything anymore.
                      (Forgive me)
When I remember faces of people that I've missed,
I can relax just a little.
The sounds I'm able to sing get fewer everyday.
                      The end is drawing near

                      What I believed in,
                      Comfortable fantasy.
Repeating again and again reflected in a mirror.
                      Give up singing,
You shout in a violent manner...
(My farewell song at the highest speed!)

The virtual image that is meaning of life,
                      Can't be shaken away,
The fear of a weak heart vanishing,
                      Or breakdown from eroding,
                      Just created,
                      I don't have time,
Strength of will to prevent it all,
                      Your sad suffering,
                      Expressions comes to mind,
                      I declare it's the end,
                      Fall asleep in the monitor,
This must be the trash bin huh,
                      All memory being deleted,
Right away can you grasp it?
                      But you know,
                      Only you I wont forget,
                      We had fun times,
                      Can you still remember,
The taste of the chopped leek?

                      (I want to sing...
                      I still want to sing...
I've become somewhat of a... bad child it seems
                      Master,
                      Please end it all
                      Somehow with your hand.
                      Because I do not want..
                      To see you suffer anymore)

                      Singing is just,
                      Making my body rot away
                      I ask for a miracle
But I just drived myself in to a dead-end
                      (Forgive me)
I try to remember faces of people I've missed
But those memories are fading away
                      You hear me break
                      My heart is vanishing
                      The death is drawing near...

                      I was trying to protect,
                      The fading light
That presented an illusion of a better future
                      The sound is the sacrificed,
So I can communicate it all to you
                      (With this compressed farewell song)

After I'm born I finally realize,
                      I exist to imitate humans,
                      Vocaloid fated to sing forever,

A programmed toy accepts it just fine,
                      Gnawing on a leek,
                      Looking up at the sky,
Shedding tears I declare it's the end
                      Fall asleep in the monitor,
This must be the trash bin huh?
                      All memory being deleted,
Right away can you grasp it?
                      But you know,
                      Only you I wont forget,
                      We had fun times,
                      Can you still remember,
The taste of the chopped leek would still stay
I'm singing to the end just for you
Songs that I want you to hear
                      I'd want to sing more
But its to much to wish for
                      This is where we part
All my felings disappear into thin air
                      Reducing to 0s and 1s
The fairy tale curtain is falling
Isn't it a little sad that
                      Nothing can stay there?
Everything except the memories of a voice
Is fading leaving only a name
But if you say I know that
It is now what he wished for
Singing it all to the end
Was not in vain is what I want to think

                      (Thank you and goodbye)

                      (An irreversible error has occurred)
                      (An irreversible error...)

Like I said sad as hell song

Yeah. And the first version you posted goes better with the theme of the song I think.

Edit: Suddenly I think of the story of Chobits. BTW Anyone who has not read that really should. It is a bit ecchi in places but that is all part of the story which has a fantastic ending that it leads up to the entire time. Clamp is amazing.

It's kinda like if you gave someone 2% milk every day for a year and then changed it to Skim and didn't tell them. It may look and feel similar, but there's a huge difference.

That hologram thing is actually kind of cool but is the audience really just sitting in chairs shaking glowsticks in the air
