    FFLBF & World Tour

    So the difficulty subforum i dont think is the right place to post this, mods feel free to move to the proper place.

    so FFLBF is rated a 73, whereas world tour is a 74...

    what gives??
    in the past, world tour often had discussions as to whether it should have been a VC. It is much easier and slower than FFLBF. It's just longer, with hardly more notes.

    So why is FFLBF rated easier than world tour?

      In my honest Opinion i feel that World Tour and FFLBF should be the SAME difficulty level. Nothing less nothing more. FFLBF is mellow for the first what 800 notes and the same with world tour. Then FFLBF starts to pick it up with some Stream and Jumpstream which is quite easily doable if you have speed. The bursts in it are kinda tricky though and near the end if you have any stamina left its not that hard but if you have run out then its like good luck. World tour is long as hell and does have alot more tricky parts to it. One handed trills, fast jacks, tons of bursts... So if anything World Tour is not easier if you have speed.

          There are a lot of songs like that. Nebula by Rushjet is rated at a 50 I think( should be lower honestly, go play it and you'll see what I mean) and I have that AAAd, but I can't FC butterflies and that's a 42. Patterns, length of time, all that comes into consideration when rating a file.

              First things first the idea it could have been a vc is utterly irrelevant here, the site pretty much agrees it's supposed to be an fmo if I recall correctly

              FFLBF is less time spent playing the chart. World tour is rated so high due to the length of the chart and how easy it actually is to dump a good or any mistake in the allotted time you have to play the chart

              by that alone wt is one of the hardest songs in the game simply due to nerves

              but then you have the chart it's self, and actually when you look at the chart for world tour you realize it requires a wider skill set than final fantasy last battle festival despite being less dense in most sections.

              FFLBF is all about speed and not splitting anything. It's skill set is very minimal and straightforward in comparison to world tour. Sure the intro to FFLBF has those awful rolls, but they're early in the chart making them easy to train on as compared to say world tours dense ending or the roll section around what I think is the 4 minute mark.

              In a nut shell: World tour is perfectly fine to be rated higher due to the longer time spent on the chart and the larger skill set required for it.

                  World Tour has some awkward color one handed parts IIRC and the ending has weird swing grace notes and rolls that are really easy to trip up on. It is *not* a VC by any means, it does take a good amount of control even if you put nerves aside.

                      yea what dossar said lmao. i'm pretty sure no one would argue WT being a VC rofl, just that it has some sections that are vc level obviously. personally i think the ratings are fine

                          yeah, i never thought it would have been a VC either. all the points make sense, it's sorted in my head now
