    The mod for Half-Life 2, Black Mesa, has been released...

    ...Three days ago apparently, hah. Shows you how much I paid attention to that ever since that mod kicked off.

    For anyone who cares, this mod has been anticipated and hyped for the last 8 years. Yeah... 8 years.

    Welp... only one way to find out if those 8 years were used for good use by the mod developers. From what I've read, it's exactly what people have been hoping for. So cheers.

          I remember this from a goddamn long time ago.

          Considering the limitations of the engine, this has more production values than many AAA titles these days honestly.

              Wow, holy crud. So far, the introduction has far surpassed my expectations of this mod. There's so much... life and detail in the introduction now.

              ...

              I'm not even playing yet and I'm amazed at how much detail is put in to the dang introduction.
