    2D-Animatics

So as it just occurred to me, this site has an artist section.

Also what just occurred to me is animation from 2D to 3D to even just general motion design in general is not really mentioned or posted here. I guess I'll fix that for a bit.

So... I kind of made myself a new avatar, via this:

    Original image came from here:

I wanted to know if there's any others on this site that are familiar on animation and would want to show off some of your work.

    I got some to show.

This is pretty damn neat. I'm not really sure on how to create any of these things, but I would really like to know how.

I've done some animation for the game Awesomenauts. Two scenes of the opening trailer are done by me as well as creating and animating the jellyfish creatures in the tubes of AI station 404 level. You can see the big jellyfish early on in this vid:

Now that's really cool, mind if I ask you how it's like working on a project like that?

It's not a job fit for everyone. There's a lot of pressure to perform well and sometimes you have tight deadlines, but there's a lot of fun and satisfaction working on a title like this. It's something that appealed to all of the people working on it and even though I was only an intern, I wasn't considered anything less than a colleague and had to work hard.
My work there wasn't just those animations though. In fact, that was an added extra I got to do for some more experience. My main job was painting a good deal of icons that are now used in game as well as designing and painting the entire AI Station 404 level you see in the video (among with some details in other levels and other small things).
It's certainly no easy task, but it's a great challenge and the team was great fun to work with.
