MP 2: Echoes can't come out fast enough.

I'm currently playing the first one through for the first time. For some stupid reason when I bought it I thought it sucked and never wanted to play it again. But that was probably because I moved on to the next areas way too fast and died within seconds (No energy tanks). Then I remembered how all the other Metroid games were when you got something new. Go back to previous areas and collect.

I have like 115 missles and 10 energy tanks now after just recently getting the Ice Beam and Gravity Suit. I'm just now making my way through the crashed frigate, as the game "suggested" I do.

But another Metroid game similar to Fusion will be sweet. Dark Samus is a REAL boss to fight against. Not some big mutant giant dealy with a big weak spot. Samus has no weak spot. She's overall hardcore.

By the way, even though it's probably been previously mentioned, does anybody have any more information about the upcoming Metroid movie?

The interface of the game looks a lot the same..I only saw a few new features..lots of new enemies/environments though. Unfortunately, I must now add Metroid to the list of games that fall into the cliche of making an evil clone to the protagonist of the game (samus and dark samus). All I can say is that I hope this game will be more challenging than the first..which was extremely easy, even on expert mode. I only died 1 or 2 times on my first play through the game. And I must admit I loved the multi-missle lock on ability ^_^.
