In 2009, Symbion Project released an album named Misery in Soliloquy. It was one of my favorite albums of that year, very lush and space-y downtempo music.
In January of this year, he re-released the album as Misery in Soliloquy [Exposed]. In this re-release, he strips all of the songs of percussion and vocals, leaving nothing but the synth and strings.
He also compiled a sampler, that contains 3 of the songs. If you enjoy rich textures in music, definitely check this sampler out.
These are the tracks featured in this sampler (I'd recommend listening to the original songs first, and then listening to the stripped down versions). Self-Destruct and Self-Destroyed literally gave me goosebumps.
