I'd enjoy some pads to thicken / fill up the mix, throughout the whole song.

Otherwise pretty solid I guess.

I thought the music was great! I like the lead synth you chose, but I think what made it feel a bit empty to me weren't a lack of pads (though it would help) but rather it felt like there's wasn't something to focus on besides the pads in parts where the song didn't have the legato synths. It just felt like chord hits with nothing to carry it along. Parts like 1:18 and 3:08, where the chords are accompanied by D# to me felt like they were overpowering the great music you already had going.

I know I'm being long-winded here lol ~ But I was messing around with:

D > D# > A# > G > F > D as a base for a melody and I thought it seemed to flow in well Take this with a grain of salt though because it's one of an infinity of ideas.

Overall, I really think you have something fun and awesome going here. It reminds me of RAM and that's a great thing!

I think the lack of a chord progression hurts it, but that's possibly my bias towards melodic complexity in songs.

Other than that, maybe some more transient sounds bouncing around (e.g. I would have loved to see the repeating 8th note at 1:07 come back a bit later fading in again, and then repeat the cycle)
