    Chimerical Skies

Just wanting to throw out whatever I write onto here as I've been attempting to get back into my interest for poetry. Right now I'm just experimenting with my articulation into free verse poems.

    Chimerical Skies

The bright sky is the limitless resource
Which we utilize for our pretension
The clouds are the outlines of transmogrification
Through our very perception on command
The sun illuminates the illusive clouds
    To animate each one individually
The night sky obscures the figments
    Of the bright sky, however
The stars we can envision angulated geography
    By conjoining each one thoughtfully
Whilst the moon brings forth each shape together
Into a much more, enhanced imagination we never thought possible

        Re: The poems I write

        Another poem.

        Roaming Leaf

        Floating effortlessly,
        Through the damp sky,
        As rain plummets,
        Upon the leaf,
        With its time,
        Being of the essence,
        To land gingerly,
        Upon the cold ground.
        Only to grasp,
        Its last moment,
        To observe the world below.
        As the wind howls,
        Alongside the traveling leaf,
        Its descent put into question,
        As its dances gracefully,
        Through harmonious raindrops.
        How much longer?
        The leaf cherishes this occasion,
To soon be with its siblings,
        And wander freely beside them.
        Eventually landing upon,
        A humble puddle,
        With its moisture glistening,
        Only to be carried,
        Respectively with the wind,
        Witnessing the Earth,
        Aimlessly roaming,
        For ever more.
