FC'd a song but it doesn't record it?

    FC'd a song but it doesn't record it?

    A few days ago, I spent a good half hour at least trying to FC Perfect Cherry Storm, and finally did it. When I went back after I finished it, I clearly saw the FC symbol next to the song name. However, I went back today and it had disappeared. I have the replay with 0 misses saved since sometimes my scores don't get recorded.

    Also, don't think this goes with the Unrecorded Scores (that seems more like AAA scores) but if it does, let me know.

      This score would go with the unrecorded scores, just go to the form and type in al the info, and submit the picture and the score will get updated for you.

          you beat your fc score with a score that you got 1 miss, which replaces your full combo with score with a miss considering it's technically a better score.
          your level ranks show 61.2.1.13 with a combo of 1071 combo, aka you missed the first or last step.

              Well, talking in the chat and apparently if you score better, it overwrites that FC, and it looks like I scored a couple thousand higher on a different play.

                  yeah when i first fc'd death piano mashing like crazy my fc didn't even count because i had a better score with some misses in the end trill..
                  you can ask a mod/admin for your score to get replaced with the fc but that's up to you (i know i did cause i wasnt gonna bother to try and refc that piece of shit), i'm sure you could re-fc this with a better score but it's a hassle i know :/

                      Can we have a change in scoring formula?

                      Say, no matter how accurate you played in your non-FC run, your score will never be higher than a FC-run regardless of accuracy.

                      E.g.
                      0 - 1000 - 0 - 0 - 0　( 1000-combo )
                      scores higher than
                      999 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 0　( 995-combo, followed by 1 miss, followed by 4-combo )

                          The scoring system is already based on combo. Depending on the place you got the miss in the 999-0-0-1-0 run, the 1000-good fc will usually be better.

                          Also, most people agree that accuracy is more important than combo, and most people would like to see the combo scoring formula changed to "raw" scoring, myself included.

                              My bad. I should have also mentioned that the 999-0-0-1-0 run is of a very high max combo ( e.g. 980 perfs and then 1 miss and then 19 perfs )

                                  Eh, I guess it depends on whether you just want the highest score or whether you care about FCs more than that. Either a better non-FC score should overwrite your FC, or it shouldn't. The scoring system shouldn't be changed, though, since it's already annoying without actually forcing you to get an FC for a decent rank.
