Is there an easy way to earn money?

I intend on studying abroad next year (I still need to convince my parents about this, which I'll do so after the "internship") and I think it's a good idea to start saving up. I saved up a lot already but I am trying to earn about $5000 to $10000 just in case if the cost becomes ridiculously high or something to that extent. I would work over the summer but I am going to earn a decent amount of money in my research "internship" at Penn State this summer. I could ask my parents to help me pay for it, but being Asian parents, they are so stubborn and probably don't want to waste any money out of their pockets haha. I am trying to find alternative ways of earning income but I have no idea where to begin.

I asked the host institution of the study abroad program if they are able to provide some assisted aid, but unfortunately, they don't. I also contacted my home institution and from what it seems, I don't think they'll provide enough money to cover the costs. I searched for some scholarships, but it seems that the money that I will win will go towards the tuition at my home institution rather than the study abroad program.

I am considering online tutoring jobs, music writing contests, or part time jobs at the moment. Nothing seems promising so far haha.

My summer internship starts in late June, so I have about a month and a half to work part time if I decide to do that. I would like to do something that involves music or math to earn my extra income, but if I have to mow someone's lawn, I'll do that haha.
