    Sorry.

You can play like that, but the scores don't really "count." It's an advantage which I find too far from default to call ok.

Technically, you could say the same thing about weird key setups not on the arrow keys or numpad. You could also say this about the overlap setup, which is cheating but whatever.

I'm inclined to agree with Privateer, though. Then again, you can't really say screenshots are legit though either, unless that person has proven themselves from concrete videos in the past.

You know it's kind of sad that you need videos to prove yourself on something hard :/
Enough other people have done it.. I understand why they would deny someone so quickly, but they say it's impossible for other people to do it, or just unbelievable.
Anyone can be as good as Yasu is on DDR, or maybe Nima/Arch0wl/etc. on SM.. just gotta play and practice a lot. That's all it takes.

Anyways, editted metrics is retarded. That's like editting a song to get rid of the BPM changes. Double key set-ups is also stupid. When you actually need an easier way to play to be good (IE - Like using the bar on DDR) you're really not that good. So yeah :P
          Just my 2 cents.

It's fine to say that you need videos to prove yourself. End of story.

well.. i'm sorry you feel that way.. I personally think all scores are legit.. but when you claim your score is something its not it becomes bullshit...

Example.. I got a AA Caprice C500... my score is legit for being a C500 AA on Caprice.. now if I try to pass this score off as a legit default setting score then it becomes bullshit..

Just like if someone passes 340 gabber on judge 1 with a AA, that score is a legit judge difficulty 1 AA on gabber, it only becomes bullshit when some tries to pass it off as a judge 4 (default) difficulty, and not a judge 1 like it really is...

Basically if you lie about the preferences and mods of your "accomplishment", then it's bullshit.. other than that.. its fine..

I agree with him because if you can edit the metrics, you can also edit the ini. If you can edit the ini, it means you can edit your timing windows to maybe just a simple ms higher to give you a huge advantage on harder songs, not like a landslide advantage like judge 3 or 2.

I wanted to make a point about that (the point Arch made is sort of what sparked this topic), but I didn't want to get refuted by someone coming up with an arguement against that. I should have at least mentioned it.

This is why it pays to not be good. No one cares that much.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Meh, I don't think its cheating. It hardly gives you an advantage at all after trying it. The only place where it gives you an advantage is like using c600 on something like gravity or my stunt flying cause the bpm changes make it way harder.

                              Exactly what I was thinking.

Besides, regardless of whether or not I am using, say, 2.5x, my hand is still moving at the same speed as someone who plays the song on 2x. My mind just has a problem processing slow moving notes for some reason or another.
