    PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

    I'd like to see how everyone feels about this.



    Pretty much a SSB clone with Sony characters, developed by SuperBot Entertainment.

              This looks really really fun, but I may as well be looking at the new SSB game for all the differences it looks like this has.

                          To me this game looks like a crappy HD version of smash, with lame characters.

                                  Saw this on G4; definitely screams "SSB clone" to me. Ironically enough though, I'm actually quite interested in PSBR (attempt at abbreviations), and I kinda like the concept of essentially taking SSB, and then replacing all the Nintendo characters with PlayStation characters. Will have to give the demo a try if one comes out.

                                      I just thought the it was funny how the guy was talking about how they came up with the game and he was just going on and on about how innovating they are...more like
                                      step 1)copy super smash bros
                                      step 2)make the characters and levels as diverse as possible
                                      step 3)?

                                              you guys are such downers! I love me some Smash, but other games are allowed to exist. I'd really like to play a game like this one with a different flow from typical Smash Bros. standoffs. specifically, something other than roll, roll, air dodge, air dodge, roll, and so on would be a nice change of pace.

                                              if the mechanics are too similar to those of SSB, then I agree that this game will probably be pretty lame. I couldn't quite tell from the video.

                                                      also what game isn't a ripoff of some other game nowadays (i mean doa/street fighter/mortal kombat/those naruto games, each play like smash in a sense too, but each holds it's own style), it's just the a genre of game, fps, rpg, blah blah blah, it's gonna play similar yet most certainly have it's own feel. it's like arguing weather cod/halo is better. at least how i see it, i'll give it a try, and if it sucks, well yeah.
