Head over to the Artist Permissions forum section for all the details on how you can get your music into the game.
You'll be able to ask for help, and hopefully find out if anyone is interested in immediately stepping your tunes.
10/10 would download illegally and pay for at a later date
Nah, I'll probably check this out, since it's a free beta version. I'm planning on purchasing FL Studio once I save up enough money. And yes, make a vid!
I hate FL10 with a passion. They made a lot of really awesome changes to the playlist interface that really helps people writing certain styles of music, but it really ****s me over. Can't stand the new piano roll either, the only new feature I like is the magic lasso. Performance mode seems like another cool addition for people who aren't me.
I have nothing against them adding new features like this, but it irks me beyond belief that they're removing old features for no apparent reason.
Really, really wish there was an option to switch to the old interface. I also wish they'd bring back the old pattern selector as it was a helpful way to organize songs instead of shoving everything into the same pattern, making the already horrible new piano roll even more unbearable.

The 64-bit support is really nice, though!
Can you not use an older version?
Also, the pattern selector was pointless, just put your patterns where you'd put your automation clips. You aren't supposed to put everything on one pattern. The Blocks were pointless when you had the actual step viewer right there.
Of course. I'm sticking to FL9, but the 64-bit support offered in FL10 is almost too good to pass on.
...Almost.

This is also true, but even though the track viewer can fill this purpose as well, it's slightly more clumsy than the old pattern selector - for example, if I want a duplicate of a certain pattern saved for later, it's perfectly obvious where I keep that duplicate in the pattern selector. It's much less obvious in the track viewer. Of course, this is merely nitpicking at this point.
Oh, and another major thing is a lot of my plugins stopped working, or just simply crashes when I try to load old projects. I'm not sure how to get around this. :/
EDIT: VST compatibility seems really iffy. Some VST's crash if they load more than 500MB into RAM, some crash upon loading, some just won't work at all... I suspect it's because I'm using a boatload of 32-bit VST's, but I'm not entirely sure what's causing it.

I second this, except for the pay at a later date.
But for real I actually might consider getting the app for ipod just for fun when i'm bored and out :P Looks so kick ass!
Edit: I just bought the app. Can't wait to try it out
Double Edit: okay yeah this is the coolest thing in the world. Comes with like 150 instruments, an MPC drum pad, Reverb/delay/effects, lots of good stuff. EXTREMELY worth the 15 dollars.

I've confirmed that some are crashing because they're 32-bit VST's since they work fine when I load up the 64-bit versions. But in some cases I don't have a 64-bit bit version and there's just no way around that. Some things still crash when loading memory intensive libraries. I can get around that by using the extended memory version of FL9, but
oh wait, FL10 has that too, doesn't it?
er.
one moment.
Yeah, okay. Forget I said anything. But I still hate the piano roll!

Hmm, I have this issue as well. I can't load more than one instance of cygnus without FL crashing.
edit: Didn't read the extended memory post, testing this out.
i'm utterly addicted to the app, can't wait to get the software for the computer. PS they have packages within the app for full orchestra, dubstep, electro, and 8 bit for like 3-5 dollars a piece, all including like 30-40 instruments
How to start an argument online:
Step 1) Express an opinion
Step 2) Wait....

Honestly, I initially figured there wouldn't even be an extended memory executable for FL10 considering there's absolutely no need for it in a 64-bit environment.
I was just too goddamn retarded to immediately realize that all of the benefits 64-bit brings obviously doesn't apply to 32-bit VST's.
