Soooo since my old laptop decided to </wrist> itself, I'm going to get a new one. The last one I bought was a huge, heavy, 17" laptop and it was way too big. I need something light, small, and portable. Will mostly be using it for websurfing, flash development/coding, perhaps drawing in the future, etc. Won't be hardcore gaming on it or anything (I have a desktop for that). Would prefer to keep things cheap if possible.

Re: Recommend me a laptopppp
You just got that laptop didn't you?
I <3 my laptop. Think it's this.

But I got it for like 150$ cheaper than listed there. Only issue it now wants to overheat. But, it still hasn't turned off due to overheating while I'm actually using it. I should open it up and clean it/reglue the cooling glue or whatever it is, would probably be fine then.Comment

Re: Recommend me a laptopppp
I usually start by checking out tigerdirect.ca, they have a top 10 most recently purchased list, so I like looking through those to see if there's anything I'm interested in.
That's how I got this ASUS G51 for $740 with shipping and handling.

I don't really know what you're looking for in terms of specs, but price wise and a very quick overview make me think this might be a nice choice: HP Pavilion dv4t Series
I don't know how to fetch a price point for this one, but you may be interested:
There are many more qualified people on here, so I would definitely trust them. You know who they are. I hope you get a good/long-lasting one.

When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.
