    FREEDOM DIVE doesn't work

    The problem is quite simple.
Loaded the song, realized it wasn't on 1.7 speed mod. (the file was fine and all) Quit. Changed it, started it again. Bug appeared.

What happens is that when I load the song again, on any circumstance, the arrows do not appear but the audio is present. The keyboard responds perfectly but the only thing I can hit are boos. At the end of the audio track, the game does not return automatically to the result screen and stays on a never-ending black screen...

    ...of sadness.

I will now represent my feelings in an artistic point of view:

It's happened to me several times. Just close out of your browser and start it up again. Or restart your computer.. whatever.

That's what happened to me after playing the new nyan file. Do what preggers said and close your browser/standalone then reopen.

        Re: FREEDOM DIVE doesn't work

It's been one week, and I had the chance to try it again many times. It's only happening on the official site though. Velocity worked. So I'm wondering because it's seems permanent.

Never mind, I just realized it's not only FREEDOM DIVE that does it but the whole legacy engine that is built in the site.
          This video speaks for itself:

EDIT: Standalone works fine, Velocity works fine. I'd just like to know what's going wrong with the site engine. :\

Happens to me when my Speed modifier is on anything other than 1.x25 or 1.5

If i do it on 1.8, works. If i do it on 1.825, works. If i do it on 1.8, works. If i do it on 1.84, doesn't work. I can't see your speed modifier but that's probably the issue, considering you said it works on 1.7

Keep to either 1.7 or 1.725, or 1.75. Avoid any other significant numbers

Also, if you have the offset to anything other than a whole number, the same problem presents itself
How to start an argument online:
            Step 1) Express an opinion
            Step 2) Wait....

It won't even let me set my keys to different ones when I try in-browser. Never has. Some things just aren't worth the trouble imo

                  Re: FREEDOM DIVE doesn't work

Hmmm, so I experimented a bit after the initial testing and I noticed that there is absolutely no changes I can make in-game or concerning my browser that makes it playable. No results on Firefox either.

@Mau5: Sadly, speed modifier is not the issue and I have to add that any mods I'll try results in the same exact same black screen. Offset is off as we talk and it doesn't do anything either. As far as I know, resetting settings to default is actually the only thing that works but I simply can't figure out and since I usually play at 1.5 to 1.75 speed mod, it's just not an option. Well not that it keeps me from playing, it's just a weird glitch that I'm trying to figure out.

@nois-or-e: I'm automatically clearing cache every time so it's not a factor actually. But I agree, standalone is absolutely godly when it comes to performance.

@justin-ator: Weird, I actually don't see any explanation to this and how it could be linked to the game's input. Just another problem that will stay unexplained.

EDIT: Found out the issue. Actually it's about speed mods being picky. After having reset the parameters, the arrows actually appeared back and the song registered my inputs. Strangely enough, the engine accepts 1.6 speed mod but completely bugs out when I enter 1.65. Other irrelevant numbers works. It's understandable I guess, but just weird that it can work on 1.625 and not 1.65. I'm confused, but now at least I can rejoice. :P
