    (Album) ZERO|Heavengodly System

    DL Link : http://www.mediafire.com/?cckdvehl4p3dge9
My new album !!! (The "godly" is optional.) Just call it ZHS.
It has even more track than the one I made before and the quality consequently increased, there's an enormous gap between my previous albums and... this one, basically.
Once again, it's a compilation of the songs I released progressively over the time. But you can still get it to be sure you'll have 'em all.

If you don't know my music yet, I don't know how to summarize it shortly. It's IDM, with synths, a fusion of both. I call it "IDM Orchestral", I can't really find anything similar because this reunites all the things I like in music.
It has breaks, glitched drums, gabber basses, guitar and organ solos, bizarre sonorities - to sum it up. This sound is clearly apart from other... "Dance musics" ? It's nearer to Video Game Music than to Dance Music, I think...

    Aw yeah,
New Scylaxx album greets me as I came back from volunteer work today.
Doesn't get much better than this.

PS: Wow you make albums quickly. I come up with a few tracks a month and don't like a majority of them. Props!
PPS: This is your 4th album right? As you might know I collect music and I love to see artists grow. It goes CIEL > ACT > Synthetic Anarchist and then this, correct?

Yeah this goes like that. CIEL and ACT are totally worthless as musical pieces though aha they're like an alpha en a beta version of my style (and even for Synthetic Anarchist at some point heh)

And I try to keep a little pace making one music every two weeks and a half, something around this (depends of the time and the inspiration I have) ; guys like Akira Yamaoka can make you complete musics in about one hour, so this is not really impressing haha

Your entire music collection is simply awesome! Can you just hurry up and get hired by Capcom and work on the new Mega Man / Rock Man games. Have you worked on any video games before?

          -edit-

Ecofear... 2:50+ My ears blew up. Literally. That was. I don't know how to describe the awesomeness.

            Re: (Album) ZERO|Heavengodly System

Graduate from Inferno already. Or is that Slayer? Either way, it sticks out like a sore thumb and sounds pretty damn wonky compared to most of the other presets you're using. It actually sounds pretty decent in Zetathinking Qloidine, but even so, it could really be improved by using a better lead. Even more so when you seem to really like using it, and even more so when you're starting to get pretty good. This is a lot better than the stuff you used to make.

I recommend RealStrat (what I normally use for my lead guitars) or, if you don't want to pay quite as much, LDi's Ripper Direct (which is what was used in my Shudder).
Actually, there's a free Kontakt 4 lead guitar library that's almost as good as Ripper Direct (I used that one in my 20 minute long vgm thingie), but I can't seem to find it anymore... I'll upload it for you.

            Theodor Kreuger's Yamaha Pacifica.

RealStrat is a VST while Ripper and the Yamaha Pacifica are Kontakt libraries.

If most or all of this went straight over your head I can explain in better detail how to use this stuff.

              Re: (Album) ZERO|Heavengodly System

OH THANK YOU. And I really don't want to spend extra-money in my music haha, that's how I try to roll, because I take it as a pure... leisure. If I feel obligated to do it because I payed for it and don't want to feel like I lost my money, well, I think this will parasitize my imagination, so.
I used inferno because I didn't have a better guitar to work with and sytrus' one was kind of cool ; I'll try the library you gave for now :3 (and I'd like to get this Kontak 4 library too)

@DJMeas I'm working on a little project with a friend. But I really, really don't plan to have a professionnal activity linked with music actually haha that will be forever a side path. (and I'm only good with free-inspirational stuff. Keeping consistent, specific vibes for true VGs track is somehow a killer to me, heh - I'm not that kind of composer, I guess haha)

                Re: (Album) ZERO|Heavengodly System

Kontakt 4 is basically a player that you load libraries into. It then reads the libraries off the hard drive and plays them in real time. It's something you're going to be glad you took the time to get ;>

You're going to need a guitar amp for the library as well. I recommend Guitar Rig 5, although Amplitube (for dirty and thick dist) and Overloud (mostly for rock) are solid as well. Basically load Kontakt 4 or 5 into your DAW, load the Yamaha Pacifica library into Kontakt, put the amplifier on whatever channel you have Kontakt on, and then go nuts.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODJcDbQIB5c <-- here's a video displaying what the library can do. Although I didn't find it nearly as versatile when I tried it out, it's not difficult to make it sound pretty realistic and cool.

edit: lol I just noticed the youtube video has the download link to the library that I was looking for earlier. derp. anyway have fun with this stuff.

there's only one real downside to using a library like this vs one of FL's default synths - you can't use the useless POS slide note thingie anymore, everything has to be programmed through keyswitches or pitch automation. takes much longer to write stuff like this, but it's waaaay worth it ;>
