I literally cringed at all of the percussion, PARTICULARLY the clap.

Notably also is the offkey piano part not far into the first section of jumps. How can anyone take the song seriously after hearing that? At that moment I stopped playing for a second or two out of sheer awe at how bad it sounded.

Agreed, but KgZ doesn't know how to do anything but sequence stock FL sounds.

as i said from the start... the song and file are not great. i wanted an arcade song. period.

This tetris remix has a very wonderdul intro with the piano, and the song is probably a very different tetris remix then probably most people have made. The song sounds really cool when all the sounds just blur into one big colorful chord.

About the steps, I thought they were kind of fun at the beginning, but the middle bored me.

This song blows. Not cuz i bf'd it 10 times, but because the middle is terrible. I'm not too instrumental, but I assume what Rai was talking about were the drums that were going at a much faster speed than the main melody. THAT'S what the steps should've been based off, not the gay 3-note **** :/

Not to bash you Tass, but shouldn't you pick songs for quality and not because a genre hasn't had a file in awhile?

In this case, the latter was more important because of just how dormant the Arcade genre had been.

exactly. balloon fever was added over a year ago. so it has been over a year since an arcade file was added. and while i did receive another arcade file... it was MUCH worse.

i have 3 choices for sotw next week... all 3 will almost certainly get into the game... just a matter of in which order. all are dance, all are of difficulty so it won't be an easy AAA, but AAAable... are all of high quality.

You need a really, really, really good musical reason (like in GGC) for me to OK an un-AAA'able file.

If there's any possible alternative to whichever jack creates this, I'd suggest using that instead.
