i once was a wee lad and have some advice for someone starting high school, sorry I'm not good at being short - some of it is obvious idk it wasn't for me because of the 'tism

Socially:
Group with people who you get along best with and do not get caught up in the social circles, drama, or dating scenes - your HS time is going to be more awesome if you spend all of it with friends. If you can't make friends for whatever reason, join a club, sports team, or find a hobby that you can identify with others with. When I joined the swim team and had a passion for working out alongside vidya, I made a lot of new friends

Educationally:
If you think you're going to college for a degree after HS, dual enroll as soon as possible and get those college credits- I regretted not doing this when I started. Anything AP is stupid and takes up a ton of time just for it not to transfer. This happened to me, passed the exam for AP Euro History just for my Uni not to take the credits lol
