that's the funny thing, it takes a pretty minimal amount of effort to get packs out the door yet no one else seems capable of finishing anything lately
you may not like them but at least i finish what i start

started stepping something, will send this weekend probably if i have the time to polish it

@james may: i mean towards the notes used. i'd have to play it again and i can provide more detailed notes tonight 7p EST

@sg dang its alright, if you have anything to submit please do haha

but honestly i think packs do take a bit of effort. to put everything together, make sure SMs are current & in line with what was submitted, "test" playthroughs for anything that was missed in the original accep. a bad pack can be put together overnight, but a good pack takes a while (see every odipack and xoon 5)

things to consider:

* as difficulty of submission (judging strictness) goes up, publication speed will go down

* as difficulty of submission goes up, barrier to entry goes up, and number of users go down

* as ease of submission goes up, prestige goes down

you want to basically find some standard of judging where your files are not complete garbage, but where people don't stress too long over judging and submission

of course, but it also depends on the perception of me as a step makers. i am ferrari aka not glovin' or roar 177777 or g-duder so ill probably get around the quality of submissions i did back around uemp1-3, not saying those files were bad or anything

it is up to us as a people to bring back stepmania so hold hands and summon thee
