So, I've opted out of doing the D5 restructure, and I'm really upset about it.

If I had like... one more full day before starting the tournament, I could probably figure out an effective way to scale D7 to D2 appropriately so that there's not such a massive skill discrepancy from D6 to D2 (D6/D5/D2 are the biggest culprits). I don't want to make you guys wait anymore to start the tournament though -- everyone still seems really excited and I'm happy to see that.

This experience has actually been a little frustrating for me in terms of planning simply because I'm trying to get absolutely everything right with this being the 10th tournament and all. I'm not sure how it'll be perceived, and I'm just really anxious to get things started.

its alright dude, nothing is perfect. dont stress too much about it. im sure it'll be a great and fun official either way

Imho, people should be glad that these divisions even exist, in most games, tournaments are only for the best.Sure, you could please everybody and make 450 divisions, but come on.. This tourney is for skillboosting and having fun.

Single division tournament is the future

Sure the divisions are unbalanced in the stated places but its not our first rodeo, we already knew going into this where we expected to place. Only people it really sucks for is D2 seeing as a lot of them it's new. But, it is also one of the divisions where you can improve incredibly quick.
Be happy with what you've done halogen, i'm yet to see someone crying about placement.
I know i'm low D5 going off the tanks i'm facing and excluding the fact that tournaments interest me very little(besides that D5 badge), it's making me want to push that much harder to improve to become better, faster.
