    I don't know, he made other threads indirectly promoting tapmania. I played that game and that are the differences i found. What is wrong about me having an opinion?

        Nice. Looks like it's worth a shot. I wonder if it supports connected keyboard keys. Yep, looks like it does. Pretty sweet

            Yes, it supports keyboards, controllers and even dance mats (via USB-OTG cable..

                Using a dance mat sounds like it would be pretty hilarious.

                Anyways, I prefer it over the other Stepmania simulator on Android, but I have major problems with the "wait 30 seconds" thing on the free version and I'm broke as hell.

                    It's cool that it supports keyboards and all that jazz, it's just..how many people actually have a on the go cable? I know I don't. Even if I did..why would I carry a keyboard around with me? That'd just be odd.

                        Hello, i just published a new version. The delay is a bit lower now and changes as you play more songs.
                        I know that it bugs you, and it should it is there to do so.
                        I mean 2.99? C'mon that's like one burger. How many games can you play at the arcades for this?

                        Its been 8months of 10hr/day of coding. I think its worth the money

                        Also you can buy a google play card for 5$ now. So you dont need to own a credit card to buy. You can buy it on almost any gas station(at least in europe)

                            The cable costs 0.99$ at my store so why not.
                            Some people play on Bluetooth keyboards and there are also few that play on nVidia Shield

                            I used it on my rikomagic (the hdmi dongle with android for TV's). It was nice to play on a big screen without connecting all wires to my PC
                            Just plugged in my dance mat and i was ready to go.

                            It's just an option. The game is designed primary for phones.

                                    Hello, there was an bug in LITE version that blocked everyone from playing custom levels. It is fixed now - just update to latest version on Google Play

                                        gg, I don't own an Android phone. Tapmania is the only option I have. One thing I particularly love about Tapmania is the fact that the arrows track your fingers, and that it lets you upload any song. The app is also completely free. For all these reasons, I doubt another ddr simulator could top it. It does everything I need it to do, and more!

                                        I only made one thread about tapmania years ago, which generated no enthusiasm because, let's face it, nobody here would rather play ddr on their phone then on their computer or arcade machine, myself included.

                                        I don't quite know what to add at this point, except hey. I disn't play beatmaniac so you could easily disregard everything I said.

                                            - there is no port of this game to iPhone so not really a competition
                                            - seems like you have no interest of even playing Beat Maniac as you have no android phone
                                            -this is an official game/support thread for BeatManiac

                                                Announcers support in BeatManiac comming!

                                                It will support the Announcer packs from Stepmania.
                                                I have all the combos + grades and some of the game start/end sounds.

                                                    Expect update from Google Play within 1-2 days

                                                        there is a new update available on Google play including:

                                                        - Added new announcers for the health bar (Good/Hot/Danger)
                                                        - Added progress information during smzip/zip unpack
                                                        - Added code to keep the screen on all the time
                                                        - Fixed bug where difficulty could not be changed for DWI files
                                                        - Fixed bug where sm files with no song specified in #MUSIC tag would not load
                                                        - Fixed bug where smzip/zip file would not unpack automatically by BeatManiac
                                                        - Faster load of sm/dwi files

                                                        oh and BTW - anyone tried the Announcer pack support? Would like to see some feedback there
