    Yes, I recall reading something like that in the pamphlet myself. I suppose the plus side of the change is that it made everything more surprising.

        I'm more excited for Evangelion Rebuild 4.0 than this, but I'm still interested to see what happens. I'll probably watch the first two movies before it just to get the updated / summarized version of the series.

                            Just watched the movie last night. Was worth the wait for a high quality version with good subs. Amazing visuals and interesting addition to the plot.

                            Interesting little paragraph written by the author. Contains spoilers potentially.

                                ^ It's really nice to see that Urobuchi and Shimbou's opinions of the ending are very similar to mine.
                                Middle schooler becoming a god-like entity is something that really irked me about the series end. And then Homura's complacency about never reuniting with Madoka irked me that much more. Her entire being up to that point was the 180 degree opposite of complacent.


                                I really need to watch Rebellion soon.

                                Also, always nice to hear from Kajiura. The only scene that for me was kind of goosebump-y was Mami's gun acrobatics stuff. The rest of the series was more stifling dread-y.

                                    This movie mindfucked the shit out of me. If I hadn't watched it sober it would've been a complete waste of time. The ending was so well thought out and has me still trying to decide how I feel about it. You don't often see ambiguous endings like that and it's really awesome.
