    What keeps bringing me back?

    Hmm, at this point I am not really too sure. It had always been about being extremely good at something. I would come back to be sure I was still as good as I used to be, and then see if I could improve on it. I have always wanted to strive to be better, but now-a-days I don't feel like my skill is worth improving on. I just am not sure if it is worth the time, but I am sure I will continue to play.

    I also have come to know people here, albeit marginally, but they are people I enjoy keeping up with and seeing. It is nice knowing that they are still around this site just like I am.

    So, I suppose you could say competition and friends are what keep bringing me back.

    I'm just an old boy now

                    Certainly not the community.

                    Personally I keep coming back mostly out of habit. I do still play the game here and there though.

                            seen people grow up, seen the community evolve. learned a fair bit from certain people and their posts. have made friends here. still play all new songs.

                            edit: notable threads that inspire me to check forums everyday are the daily outer space posts Blue makes. Fitness thread.

                                                Main reason is pretty much for the game itself.

                                                Some other reasons are pretty much just social reasons, dohoho.

                                                    This is the only forum online that I go to and post in at all now. Reading every new thread, constantly checking my control panel for new posts in subscribed threads ... It's a habit. I like that it's a relatively small community here.

                                                    As for the game itself, I only really play it much now around tournaments. Somehow stopped caring so much about decreasing my average rank, which is nice. More fun, less rage.

                                                    If I ever leave, it will be because I no longer have the time to make stepfiles and help others with theirs, either needing to devote more time to work or other creative endeavors. Or something like that.

                                                            The forums provide a nice distraction when there's nothing going on at work. Chit Chat and The Garbage Bin, and the occasional post in Video Games are my mains.
