Most of my files are marathon length. I'll try to comb through to find the most fun/difficult ones and send them in.

downloading. his file sounds pretty similar to mine from reading the short blurb about it on his profile :/

tbh mine feels like a dump to me lol, jumpjacks with holds and hands crammed(hue) in. reeks of ctrl+c and ctrl+v heh, though i stepped half of it by hand. i think the 300 bpm patterns are decent though, index friendly for the most part.

        Released!

          Sent Exam Cram.

also how much harder is cetaka's edit compared to heavy? My download doesn't have the edit chart, but heavy is a LOT easier than either of my charts.

Outside the 32nd streams, mine has jump/handgluts and in one section combines that with jacks while another combines with holds. 32nd stream patterns are fairly easy (no anchors/runningmen to be found) but has minitrills at the peak of every scale and Oni has jumps in the 32nd streams.

I think my Oni has like ~1800 notes in it, 709 in the last stream alone, but pattern choice dictates difficulty in the case of step density here. If it gets rejected from this pack I'll prolly just submit it to d4u's pack instead.

              Released!

This is fine. Multiple difficulties is OK but I'm not looking to have a lot of files with multiple difficulties to keep things simple. Hopefully skwid can handle the speed because I sure cant lol

Marathon files are fine! Short files are appreciated but I'm happy to look over and review any and all files sent to me!

This question is difficult to answer right now but I'll try. Our current plan is to adjust difficulties based on our opinions of how difficult the file is, but we also have plans to make charts more distinguishable so people get an idea of what they play before they get into it, in short our current plan is to put all dump files on Beginner, all "normal" files on Heavy, and all jack files on Oni. For files with multiple difficulties I am currently unsure what the plan is but it might end up being Standard/Heavy, and I really really really don't want files with more than 2 charts at all.

As for the difficulty ratings, we will not be using the Xoon/Chancellors 1-10 difficulty system, we are currently planning on just putting our opinions on the difficulty, which will probably roughly relate to their nps rating.

                    Hey it's been forever

I sent you fixes for both charts. With A Dance Number was good, but someone went through it and found a lot of simple fixes that could be made to improve it, should be even better.

Also, Wings of Demise was overhauled to the notes. I hope I got at least most of it.

Couple of reviews before I forget:

The jacky 16ths are hella fun to me, the 32nd streams are an absolute nightmare. Perfect fit for the pack, and a true challenge to any real speed player.

I'm not going to re-review your other file since its already in but I will update what I have with newer version you sent in. After your changes to this I'm going to accept this as well. Can't really think of anything new to say about it that I didn't say in my first review.

Side note I put together everything I've got accepted into the pack (including the recent files I've accepted that Skwid could still reject, but I'm guessing he probably wont) and we are up to 31 files now. Its likely that Skwid and I could trim out some of our own files but for now things are coming along pretty well I think. I'll update the list of accepted files in a bit.

Been falling behind on reviewing shit. Like Wafles, I'm not going to do a re-review of XelNya's already accepted file, but it's nice to see a direct improvement to a file I was already pretty happy with playing.

                                (rCaliberGX) Rushjet1 - Exam Cram
                                Accepted
This chart is a lot more fun than the hsmp5 one IMO because of the cooler 32nd patterns and the less awkward jack sections. They're pretty similar otherwise, but this chart is different enough to justify having it around. I also think people will appreciate the fact that there are 2 difficulties on this.

(XelNya) Konori (Ft. Megurine Luka) - Wings of Demise
                                Conditional
I thought the previous iteration of this chart was pretty damn fun. Now it's even better (more minijacks <3), although I still feel like there are a couple of parts you could improve.

Why aren't there jumps at beats 10 and 10.5? It seems weird with how you chart the rest of this part. This part shows up multiple times throughout the song.

At beat 458.5, you charted an 8th jump when the jump should have been on the following 16th. It's wrong and inconsistent with how you charted the exact same part at the beginning.

Starting at beat 748, you chart this whole section in a completely different way from how you charted it earlier in the song, even though it sounds the same (jumps only on snare hits).

The drum part during the long left freeze starting at beat 240 is charted incorrectly. This same part shows up a couple more times.

If these things are addressed, I'd definitely accept this file. There aren't many problems with it, but I think the few that are present really break the flow of the file for me because they're so blatant.

(MrTea) Venetian Snares - Marty's Tardis
                                Accepted
Fantastic chart. Song is okay. Not much else to say.

(MrTea) Venetian Snares - Winnipeg As Mandatory Scat Feed
                                Accepted
Jesus this song feels like it goes on forever. The chart is great, filled with fun patterns and a good amount of variety.

(MrTea) Die Antwoord - DIZ IS WHY IM HOT (MrTea Remix)
                                Rejected
Eeehhhhhh. Unlike the files that I've accepted, this chart isn't fun enough to make up for the song not being very appealing to me.

I'm just barely in "accept" range with a lot of the files you've submitted, MrTea. I feel like a lot of your song choices make for great charts, but they just aren't catchy enough or don't vary enough in sound to make me want to play it again after the first time through.

It could definitely just be me though. Wafles could convince me otherwise.
