    That doesn't take care of the problem. Its not just video lag, its audio as well. (I know because I tried this when I was having this problem)

      I have almost the same TV as well.

      47", 1080p, 120HZ, LG475k model.
      I also have the same problem. I'll try playing on 60hz or "game mode".

        If game mode doesn't fix the problem for the most part then yea it won't get any better than that. Game mode won't eliminate lag completely because most things have to be upscaled which creates the lag in the first place. While I was told LG was a good brand of television I would recommend possibly for next time to get a panasonic viera plasma or a Sharp Aquos when it comes to lag. With beatmania you can tell if your display has lag right away and my timing is absolutely amazing on the Aquos. The Viera i was recommended from a friend
