I was D2 in the 5th official tourney. I had to whore sunshine stone over 900 times to not get eliminated that round. Good times, Good times.

Technically you can't. All that can be done is using one's best discretion as to whether or not someone is sandbagging.

Mainly D4, because we have people coming in due to wanting to do well, people who "need to move up and out" because they practiced and wanted to do well, and the cheating girls because they learned from their boyfriends and also actually wanted to do their best no matter what.

Obviously, if you care about doing your best (and you're not D5+), you belong in D4.

(Saying that as a joke because we give a shit and that's just what's happening by coincidence xD)

Your 3 good score pushed the cut off up a good. So if I want any chance to stay in this round I have to drop 3 goods and 6 boo's. Which honestly I don't think I can do. But I'll keep trying till this round is done and hope that I get a miracle run.

Point is you aren't the only one in this that's an underdog. There are a lot of them, most of which will never say a word. They'll just play their best and either make it far or get knocked out. That's just how these tourneys are.

You underestimate yourself.. From the games we played before the tourney started and into round one on mp you were easily high end of the division to start with.

The only reason I think you're underestimating yourself is because people are improving while you aren't because of the lack of playtime you have.

MP? I wasn't even getting close to you guys and none the less, yes I can do 10s but I can't do 11s for my life. I was never even close to high end of the division. You're out of your mind if you think so.

Well you beat me 9/10 times when we played, and your accuracy is really amazing up until fmo's.. and if you get over that block I think you could easily stay in until round 6

EDIT 2: Also psycho.. if you make it past this round you're top 33% of the division. So you can't say you aren't top tier since you're gonna make it =P

I beat you maybe twice if that, I don't even think I played 10 songs with you guys.

Here's my best FMO's

11/1/0/5 choprite 101 plays
6/0/0/0 novo mundo 244 plays (Which I still say this is a 10)
12/1/0/2 going on spring wind 209 plays
lawn wake 1 8/0/0/1 137 plays

These also don't include restarts since that was brought up and also don't figure in the 100's of plays with me whoring them while the site was down on LD's engine. The fact is I have whored FMO's and I haven't gotten any better. I've been stuck here for a while. The only thing that's improved for me a bit is my reading.

EDIT: Just as some advice you probably won't want to take..

I got a speedboost 2x by playing dossar engine until my hands felt like they were burning and cramped in 5 different ways at once. Along with the speedboost I became a lot more accurate at fmo's and reading them was much easier.

Unlike sports or other events, it's very difficult to catch cheaters on the internet due to the anonymous nature of the internet. You can do DNA and blood tests for baseball players, but there's no sure-fire way of finding a cheater in an online tournament of this particular nature.

@Findarian: typically, one would study the player's history on songs as well as see if any IP addresses match. That's probably how Kayla would go about determining sandbaggers. But no method is perfect as was emphasized already.

I don't need a speedboost and no offense to dossar but his engine was not for me. Especially because any song with a background or video I can't play.

Try to listen to the key taps on the last stream and try keep it consistent.

Has nothing to do with want, I can not play songs with backgrounds and really can't play any that have videos. The ones with videos (any animation really) actually make me sick.

Only a few have videos, and generally they all have really hard patterns.. So just avoid the ones with videos?
