Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
Yeah okay now do that for 15 hours. It's a lot harder to combo RATOmash than it is to combo vROFLmash with respect to the opening quads.
Again, though, you have to factor in the human element of stamina. That's like saying "Oh, look at how fast my average lap is. At this rate I can run 120 miles in X time." Milking a decent points/second gain out of RATO is going to have a much harder strain on your hands. Adamaja was able to do it with vROFL because it doesn't require a lot of strain to actually mash out a decent gain with minimal boo offset. Even THAT hurts after a few hours. And if you're actually PLAYING files to minimize boo offset, you're going to tire out hard or start sucking in terms of PA.
Herp derp, of course it's going to show up. 1.5 billion points in a day is laughable in the first place. There's absolutely no way anyone is going to be able to do this legitimately.
Much better off going for 50 bil GTS, which btw is equally retarded because the top GTS guy is at 43k, and the interval drops by 25% once you hit rank 16 -- and most of those guys already have vROFL anyway.
This is not really making vROFL any easier to achieve than it was before. It's still pretty much going to be impossible. Playing normally, the average song has a bit under 10,000 points/second. That means, again playing normally, you can expect to need about 58 days of straight arrowsmashing to generate 50 billion points. Divvy that up based on how much you play per day and adjust the average step figure by what range of difficulties you play.
