What browser?
If it's firefox, try making a new shortcut and adding -safe-mode to the end of the shortcut description - it turns off addons and extensions and stuff... I've found that apparently some of my addons cause small lag spikes that usually get me at least a random good/average or 2 in any song, whatsoever.
