I seriously feel bad for the kids named Dick, even though it's a real name...

They will get picked on from the point kids know what dick means, until they mature around grade 8+

i know a kid named richard wang, and his nickname is dick-dick, since dick is the nickname of a person named richard, and a wang is that, too.

Believe it or not, I go down to the cemetary annually to remember someone by the name of Moon Dick.

haha my principal in 3rd grade was named gaylord anderson, and he pronounced it as gay lord. gaylord perry (famous pitcher), etc.

richard is a kool name ^__^ i wish i had that.

edit: yes, i remember that, Tass. Espn would be a weird name. i'd probably be one of the people that might name a child that, though, since i watch sportscenter like 5 times a day. espy would be better, though.

Wonder if there is length limits. Maybe I'll name my kid 4 different alphabets or maybe..

Instead of taking her out to a movie and buying her popcorn, bend her over the arm of a couch. It's very economical. Just make sure you are using the proper protection, because then it can become VERY, VERY GOD DAMN UNECONOMICAL if she pops a baby 9 months down the road.

Don't think there would be actual letter length limits, but the inconvenience of a very long name is a limit in itself.

In Germany you have to go before a court and tell them the first and middle name you wish to give to your child. They vote on it and tell you to change it or not. They do that so no one names their kid anything stupid or so they don't have 200 girls named Mary all born in the same year. I think it's dumb but whatever. I believe you can also have them select a name for your child if you can't pick one on your own.

The child of a member of the band Coldplay is named apple.

I once met an Indian family where the children's names were Wan, Too, Tree, and of course, there's always George Foreman's kids .
