Not that I care. I use rechargable batteries for mine anyways.

well, I was gonna buy another Wiimote, but I guess I'll wait, then primarily use that one when I get it.

I didn't know I'd have to wait so long. The site said it'd ship before launch date so that it would arrive on or slightly after launch date.

Apparently they had more pre-orders than quantities arrived in the first shipment.

Besides, I'm not obsessed with playing Wii every waking moment. I play when I feel like it, which happens to be often, but not always.

          Re: The Wii is Here.

Fighting games + Wiimote = awesome

It's so much nicer than pure button combos. Though, I haven't put a bunch of time into DBZ as I like to focus on one game at a time if there is skill needed. I don't want to keep switching between games and having to rebuild some lost skill.

As Nintendo wanted, they simplified the controls with less buttons. It works. There is a learning curve and difficulty, of course. But it's so much nicer and a lot of fun doing motions in combination with holding down buttons (or not).

My only gripe is that multiplayer on a 27" non-widescreen TV sucks. Characters are big and you lose sight of each other. It really cuts into the gameplay. My brother, who sucked complete ass against the computers, came so close to defeating me because it was hard for me to tell what was going on. :/

                News Channel in two days.

I must've missed the press release on this one. Whee.

WarioWare should arrive tomorrow if I am lucky.

Just downloaded 3 VC games. Take up a bit of blocks, they do.
Can't wait to try 'em out

EDIT: Egads, hockey is fun but I am horrible at it.

Why do some people act like Wario Ware is like hard to find or something? There were like tons and tons of copies everywhere. Why preorder something so common?

Because I wanted to save $10.

I could've ordered it the day it came out but there were no pre-order costs at all so why not?

News Channel launched this morning. I tried updating my Wii a day early because it worked with the Forecast Channel; well, it does with the News Channel, too.

This feature is amazing. There's a whole list of categories of news to choose from, from international news to entertainment. Pictures are included, and you can view all the articles one-by-one with the slideshow feature. It's just like a newspaper.

The most amazing thing, though, is that when you choose an article to read, the right panel opens up and the Wii Globe comes up to show you the area of interest that the article takes place in. If you wish, you can click on the globe, and the Wii Globe appears just as it does on the Forecast Channel. Articles are grouped in major cities and regions all around the world. Incredible.

                              o neat news channel.

Also, Harvest Moon Wii screenshots are up. I've never played a Harvest Moon game, so I'm not really excited, but maybe you are.

Also, check out these Twilight Princess easter eggs. Possible spoilers, so only if you've beaten it.

My favorite so far: "There's a rumour that if a blue chu and a yellow chu run together, they will form a green chu. Green chu's likely existed to refil the magic meter, a feature that was eventually dropped from the game. The magic meter can still be seen in a screenshot on the back of the box. "

                                - When you ask the fortune teller in Hyrule Castle town for your 'love' fortune, her chant is actually "Wait....loading takes a while" spelled backwards.
