In order to be eligible for participation, we highly recommend to at least have 600 games played, with 200 unique songs FULLY played. You are <b>REQUIRED</b> to submit all other rhythm game accounts on the signup form.<br />
<br />
If you do not meet these requirements, consider reaching out to Event Staff through the website or Discord Direct Messages. Insufficient information will result in you being placed a division or two higher than normal or not being placed at all- the burden is on you (the participant) to ensure that sufficient information regarding your level of play is provided. Withholding information that has to result in divisional roster changes mid-tournament may result in disqualification at the staff's discretion.<br />

<span style="font-size:28px"><b><u>Overview:</u></b></span><br />
<br />
<b><span style="color:red">This tournament is scheduled to start on July 10th midnight server time.</span></b><br />
<br />
Upon registration of the tournament, you will be placed in a list with all other players that have signed up to the tournament, and will be placed accordingly based off of your overall skill and accomplishments in regards to the game, performance in other rhythm games, and relative to the other signups. You will not be signing up for a particular division your division placement will be handled internally. Keep in mind, there is not a limit to the number of participants in this tournament, or the number of competitors within a given division. The number of divisions in this tournament will be determined based on signups at the high and lower skill ranges. <b>If you play other rhythm games you are REQUIRED to provide links to those online profiles for placements. Failure to do so may result in DISQUALIFICATION.</b><br />

<b>Elimination format:</b><br />
<br />
Tournament format- 6 rounds, lasting one week, standard elimination, groups to be determined.<br />

<span style="font-size:28px"><b><u>Rules:</u></b></span><br />
<br />
<b>This tournament will be 6 rounds long, with each round lasting 7 days.</b> Every Group will receive their own song, every round.<br />
<br />
<b>If for any reason a score does not record, take a screenshot AND save a replay after you have restored connectivity. That way, we can definitively verify that you did obtain that score. We will not be adding scores without this form of proof.</b><br />
<br />
It goes without saying: <b><span style="color:red">CHEATING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.</span></b><b> Anyone caught cheating in this tournament will receive a minimum punishment of forum banishment, and will be considered for more severe punishment.</b> As mentioned in the FFR forum rules, using a bot or trainer is grounds for score removal, and other implicit methods of score boosting like account sharing will result in further reprimand. Do not try to circumvent rules with loopholes. You may not use an alternate account in an effort to be put in a lower division. Chances are, if its questionable, it shouldnt be done. In addition to this -- <b>if you have cheated in previous tournaments, we reserve the right to deny your entry in the tournament. Decisions are final, and if you are told that you are not allowed to enter, you are NOT allowed to enter.</b><br />

Be respectful to everyone involved in the tournament! Arguments with tournament staff or with other users will not be tolerated. Use this time to have a good time with other competitors, and bond in the spirit of competition.<br />

If you happen to have any issues with placements, <b>do not post them in any threads.</b> Instead, send a private message to the Event Staff via FFR, or send us a message on Discord. We will do our best to respond to everyone in regards to everything. <b>Continual disregard of this rule will result in removal from the tournament.</b><br />

Q: What division am I in?<br />
<i>A: You can see what division you are listed in by checking the tournament dashboard. If you do not see your name in a division but do see your name in the participants list, it is because placements are not up yet. Be patient placements wont be finished until just before the start of the tournament.</i><br />

Q: How will placements be decided?<br />
<i>A: The divisions and the individual people in them will be decided using a variety of factors. These include (but are not limited to): profile statistics for participants (seasonal and lifetime), performance in other related rhythm games, previous tournament performances, and volume of signups at a given skill range. The less information provided to us, the more likely you are to be placed in a division above your actual level of play.</i><br />

Q: Ive degraded in skill can I be in a lower division?<br />
<i>A: Unfortunately, you will not be placed off of your current skill, but rather the skill that is reflected in your level ranks (public and token). Gauging current skill is incredibly risky and can ruin the overall tournament experience, especially if someone improves unexpectedly due to being placed in a lower division for skill degradation. Do your best each round is 7 days long, and you can accomplish a lot in those 7 days if you try.</i><br />

Q: When will I receive my prizes?<br />
<i>A: Credit and token prizes will be handed out at the end of the tournament. If you were supposed to receive a prize and have not, send us a Discord message or a FFR Direct Message and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.</i><br />

Should the final 2 roles alive be a Serial Killer and any other role, the Serial Killer immediately wins. In the situation where the final 3 roles alive are Serial Killer, Mafia and any town role, the Serial Killer immediately wins. In a situation where there are 4 players alive, 2 being any Town-aligned role, 1 being any Wolf-aligned role and 1 being the Serial Killer, the day phase will be skipped, and immediately proceeds to a night phase where using any killing actions becomes mandatory. If no killing action is received from a party that has a mandatory killing action, it will be used on themselves, bypassing anything that would otherwise prevent such a kill from occurring.<br />
<br />
If any role does not submit any action during a night phase, I will interpret this as intent not to use the action.<br />
<br />
The Serial Killer will be informed immediately if their vest has been shot at.<br />
<br />
The 1-shot Bulletproof Vest continues to work if the Serial Killer is targeted by a roleblocker.<br />

The only time that a player will be told that they are roleblocked is if they are expecting a result. This refers only to Cops, 1-shot Cops, Role Cops and 1-shot Role Cops.<br />

The factional nightkill is performed by the mafia sending a specific member to make the nightkill. The nightkill can be made by any member of the mafia without preventing that member from passively/actively using any role function/ability.<br />

Wolves will be told the roles of their partners upon entrance to wolfchat.<br />

In order for a Town Roleblocker to Roleblock the wolfkill, the Town Roleblocker must target the Wolf that is making the kill.<br />

The nightkills are not differentiated, meaning that if the mafia kills Sunfan, the Serial Killer kills Fiction and the vigilante kills Daikyi, the Start of Day post is written like:<br />

Roleblocking a Godfather or a Serial Killer does not make them appear to be seered as Red during the night phase. Roleblocking an Innocent Child does not prevent them from revealing their Innocence during the following day phase.<br />

The following is an incredibly improbable series of resolution events should multiple roleblocking roles target one another:<br />
What happens when Roleblocker A targets Roleblocker B who targets Player C, assuming Player C attempts to use a night action?<br />
Player B is Roleblocked, all other actions take place.<br />
What happens when Roleblocker A targets Roleblocker B who targets Roleblocker C who targets Player D, assuming Player D attempts to use a night action?<br />

If a Serial Killer, who has their vest in tact, is targeted by a killing action on the current night and a saving action on the previous night, their vest will remain in tact.<br />
