Hopes and Dreams (Noodletru) [0.0/10]
> Permission check good.
> Sync is off by a fair amount, needs a re-sync before getting into the game.
> Chart properties says the chart was made by bblum. This you?
> Chart is on Challenge difficulty.
> '.ssc', banner, background, and jacket image included in submission folder. Need to be removed. No other issues found within submission folder contents.
-Listen man, your Chart metadata for your music tag points to 'toby fox - UNDERTALE Soundtrack - 87 Hopes and Dreams.mp3' in both your .sm file and .ssc file, so the music doesn't load. Had to change Music to read 'Hopes And Dreams.mp3' for the music to load properly. Consider double-checking to make sure your file is in working order before submitting.
-FFR doesn't accept holds, rolls (holds that require you to constantly push the same button), and mines. To which this song does all three. Consider checking the submission rules ( https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?t=145458 ) before submitting. This type of stuff gets an instant reject when it shows up in batch.
-Song could use a lot of PR (Pitch Relevance) work, as it doesn't really follow any pitch or melodic arrangement encompassing the notes for this file. Will likely need a massive overhaul. There's also not much rhyme or reason between specific patterns in the stream, like the type of patterns used between 00:25.332 -> 00:27.090, vs patterns used between 00:28.145 -> 00:30.254.
-[01:07.520] This kind of 'mine' emphasis to stress song upheaval/climax really doesn't fit the song, both for its playability & cleanliness.
-[01:34.239] Massive difficulty spike one-hand 24th at 170bpm. Most people are not going to be able to hit this accurately, bar cheating the pattern. Should be at least spread out across both hands when going this fast. Even then, it doesn't fit what the song is portraying in terms of how much note is going to a specific sound, so in layman terms this is dumping.
-[01:39.864] Much better since it's across both hands in comparison to the previous note. But still, it doesn't fit the song, since this is all going to one sustain sound.
-The reason why you are making these 'roll' jumps at the end of these 24th trills is because the song is so off-sync that the 24th is closer to the true position of where the note should be compared to the 4th note.
-[01:54.805] There is literally no reason for these 32nds beyond stressing the song itself, and when done like this for exorbitantly difficult bursts, especially on one-hand, it's referred to as a 'dump' as in, 'I dumped a bunch of random notes here for difficulty'. Don't do this. At least, not in FFR. It occurs multiple places elsewhere in this section.
-[02:30.313] More stressed 24th one-hand trill at 170bpm. Yum.
-Yep. So, this is a reject. Hope some notes here can help with charts created in the future.
