Jiggly Puff [6]
This is a pure judgement call, but my personal opinion is that this file doesn't really...have much of an audience on FFR. The occasional hand in a lower-difficulty file, yes, very cool. Something a bit more experimental and less structured, sure - I accepted MG1 with a 9/10 a few batches ago, because I like that stuff a lot. Color theory, less happy about it for easy files but we do have Counting Snow, I accepted Control, etc, so it's not unprecedented.

All of these things together, in a "song" that really isn't all that interesting or goes anywhere...I don't know, I just don't think it's something that's a "good" introduction to FFR, honestly. It's just a bunch of repetitive (admittedly amusing) """singing""" to some colored and irregularly timed hands, that's about it. Not a fan, but I've given this a max score reject because you should absolutely seek a 2nd opinion/appeal about this file if you believe in it enough; there's decent possibility that a different judge may see it differently.

The color theory is the colors of jiggly puff, and given the nature of the song I thought it would be the most pleasing to look at.

And since the 'choir' can fairly easily transfer with pr to 'chord', I think your call for a second opinion is a good one. I really just see it as an easy attempt of something in the vein of 'poopity scoop'.

The pokemon theme makes it easily digestable to a huge fan base as well. I remember being a new player and just playing songs I could kind of recognize to relate to the game before moving on to songs I didn't really know.

As far as repetitive goes, I really made sure each chord progression has a different set of hands to differentiate between verses, so tbh I don't see the repetitive note (except that the song is in fact just 1 'instrument').

Tldr I don't know who you would forward the second look to but I'm OK with whomever you recommend.

"Repetitive" -> song, not the file; I noticed and appreciated the variation in hands being used.

Usually the second look would be through submitting an appeal to Kayla, who'll forward it to a different judge or possibly look at it herself.

I agree that this song may have some nostalgia value, and was really on the fence for it for that reason. I'll let the other judge make a second opinion on this.
