**-[00:54.982] Feels incredibly abrasive for putting hands to the synth starting up. Would rather hand the hands cut out entirely, and just use them as accenting for difficulty for claps in after the next section starts, for like 4ths at 00:59.597 for example.

**-[01:21.520] Not sure what the significance for the [23]’s here are, besides louder file = more notes, or a layering change. Even then, would rather still have them isolated to one hand, rather than using both hands.

-[01:50.828 -> 01:54.520] Get the layering progression for this section, would’ve preferred the 16ths being fully filled out for this section though, given the difficulty this file has set for itself.

-Okay file. Not my cup of tea, but enjoy the 16th portion of the file tremendously. Mostly only have issue with introductory sections prior to the 16th portion of the file. Specifically, the hands to synth build-up at the intro, and the jumps for build-up layered over top of the 8ths from the note at 01:21.520. @ me, I’d like to see this go in, but it’s really difficult given those pinch points.

[00:54.982]: I had a lengthy conversation with goldstinger on this section, and it boiled down to the amount of tension put onto specific patterns, namely chains of jumps that involved both hands vs. one hand. The issue was that two-handed (e.g. [13]) jump chains created more physical tension in the gameplay than one-handed (e.g. [12]) jump chains, and the order of my patterns had a perceived mismatch of tension. I therefore re-arranged the patterns here so that one-handed jump chains came first, and my two-handed jump chain pattern comes last at a musical climax.

[01:21.520]: I removed the [23] chains altogether and reduced the layering here, as the synth chords actually arrive two measures later than what I originally had these at.

[01:50.828 -> 01:54.520]: @goldstinger: I originally showed you a revision that included the triplet 16th hi-hats. But in practice, this turned out to be a bit awkward and - speaking of tension distribution - was really demanding on my left hand. So I left the original pattern as is.
