> Permission check bad (See notes)
> Sync is a live recording, but close enough & low enough in difficulty to be acceptable.
> No issues found within simfile properties.
> Chart is on Medium difficulty.
> No issues found within submission folder contents.

-If you run into the issue where the title is not updating, it’s because it was wrong on the initial upload of the file, and needs to be deleted from the batch, and then re-submitted. Can do so when viewing the file in a batch. Double-checked your simfile properties. And everything is listed fine.

-FFR does not have permission to use Stormo music properties. The permission provided points to https://stormooo.bandcamp.com/releases . At the bottom of the page, it states ‘All Rights Reserved’. Meaning, we need express permission from the music author to use their content on the website. We have not yet obtained said permission as of Oct. 17th, 2020 (date of judge review). If you do obtain permission, please post proof of permission in the permissions thread on the forum, and re-submit. Until then, this file will be rejected.

-[00:06.935] Right away, majority of your notes are colorized and not in-sync with the initial sync set out for the file, which is a shame since the sync appears to be set correctly, but the notes for the file are not in sync at all, with some notes being a full 16th off. Please check your waveform to double-check where you’re placing your notes.

-I will be judging the rest of this file in mind since all 211 notes are either not aligned with where the note should actually fall (colorized), or part of some color flam. Really feels like the file was done in ctrl+r, and then the notes were tweaked for sync afterwards.

-[00:20.441] 4th for drum lands here, but the 32nd is almost at the next bar at 00:20.703.

-[00:33.449] Missing 4th here in the current drum layering structure.

-This far in, appears to be a rolling right to left and then left to right pattern that’s taking dominance over other patterns. Despite the song itself following a rhythmic pitch pattern PR-wise that would suit this, the rolls themselves are not following a Pitch Relevance in any manner here.

-[00:40.583] Might want to consider a jump on 4th here as a major guitar introduction & transition.

-[00:44.359] Following vocals here, but no reason for this [14] to be identical to 00:41.422 when they are both completely different both PR & instrument-wise.

-[00:44.779] Very confusing to have a jump initially that had vocals & drums together, and then there’s nothing for drums in this section. Keep vocals to singles, or step drums as well. Vocals in themselves shouldn’t qualify for jumps as emphasis. Good example is like 00:48.136.

-[00:51.283] Vocal 8th here.

-[00:54.430] Missing 4th vocal.

-[00:56.948] Missing 4th vocal when it was stepped at 00:50.234. Same follows suit for 00:43.520 earlier. Change for consistency.

-[01:07.438] Consistency falling apart a bit here with opting for jumps vs the beginning of the song.

-[01:19.187 -> 01:20.866] Missing notes (see 00:25.476 -> 00:27.155)

-[01:23.383] Drum lands on 4th here, not the 64th slightly ahead of it, and probably not the best time to just switch instrument focus to vocals mid-measure.

-[01:27.999] Given that it appears you switched from drums to vocals mid-measure, you missed the 4th vocal here.

-[01:29.258, 01:30.936, 01:32.615 -> 01:33.874] missing drum 4ths.

-[01:38.909] In following drums here, missing drum 4th.

-[01:40.378] Seems like you changed instruments from drums to guitar mid-measure again instead of utilizing a transition, or a measure change. In which case, missing guitar 8th here.

-[01:45.203] Similar missing 4th drum (same note as 01:38.909).

-Similar issues between 01:45 & 01:47 derived from previous timestamps at 01:38 -> 01:40.

-[01:47.721] Song really picks up right here, allowing for a double time in the guitar & the drums, but it is not utilized at all. Instead, it follows a similar progression as the one at 01:07.438, which is causing a varied amount of conflict on song-to-note progression. Please consider filling out this section in some other manner that befits the double time happening here, while not drawing parallels to these two sections.

-[02:01.149] This section is essentially the same section instrument and pattern-wise to the one at 00:40.583, except this one is watered down to singles and leaves the jumps out. Needs patching up for consistency across both sections. Don’t necessarily care whether or not they have the same patterns or execution at this point, but they really should portray the same musical progression.

-[02:07.863 -> 02:08.702] Missed an opportunity for some 3/16th usage (16th on every third note, starting from 2:07.863) during this transition, which sticks out particularly bad.

-[02:28.258] drum finishes out the song here a little bit earlier from the guitar, which ends on the 16th at 02:28.319. The two extra notes (64th and 96th) that trails after this for a whole second and a half, shouldn’t be there.

-Naturally, since the entire song is off, it’s only fitting the the ending part after this is on a different BPM and entirely off-sync. At this point, if you wanted to salvage it, I would literally just cut the ending of the song out in some audio editor like Audacity. The ending at 02:28.258 is fitting enough for the file, doesn’t need to be drawn out further.

-If it wasn’t clear enough that this file would’ve been rejected for not having music permissions for this artist, it would also get rejected for a sync standpoint, since all the notes are wildly off despite holding a pretty good sync throughout the entire song (except for the ending), and get another reject for a fairly weak chart structure, close to no Pitch Relevance used, and spotty layering that doesn’t hold up throughout the file. So this is a triple reject. While I do appreciate anything & everything submitted to the batch, my biggest suggestion for this file is to get yourself familiarized with charting habits, patterns, instrumental layering, pitch relevance, and finding an equilibrium in those tools for your next submission.
