2.096 the 8th here has a sound more prominent and closer to the other jumps than the 4th preceding; feel like either the 4th should be de-jumped, this should be a jump, or both
11.930 should this be a jump?
15.096 missing bg piano notes on 2 16ths starting here
18.930 highly recommend disconnecting this 3 in this jump from the anchor here to accentuate the much lower chord you're placing a jump to + relieving some tension on the right hand
20.513 missing 16th
34.596 nit: would like to see this jump moved off [14] just so it doesn't look and play so visually similarly to the previous 4th as the two are completely different
37.096 these 4 notes play a bit weirdly as they neither accurately follow the rhythm nor the PR of the sound effect here - easiest fix is simply to move the 8th after this to a 1, I think
37.763 missing
45.513 ^
48.430 I thought you brought these up when you sent this file to me the first time :p The 24th here is a ghost. There is an extra note here before the 4th, yeah, but it is not on the 24th
49.263 & etc. I was mildly closing one eye on this, because it wasn't really super noticeable yet, but there is a small confusion with whether you want to layer the jumps at points like these where there is a loud clap as a jump. Here you don't, and in many other places too, but there are also other places where you do: e.g. at 41.263, where the piano is playing a single note but is a jump, 36.930 where there is nothing else but this sound.
59.096 super nit: absolutely nothing wrong with this, but consider moving this to 32 instead of 43 if you want to be super nice to avoid entrapping the player in a lot of left-handed strain before going into a roll
61.263 not sure i fully understand why this and following 4th are jumps
62.763 interestingly the 24ths here like these are correct
63.179 personal preference - feel like the 16ths in these sections should be stepped - the overall rhythm of these parts are much faster-paced than other sections musically imo
In the same vein, the layering change here where 4ths get jumps with melody + kick is a good change-up here, I like it.
67.179 same as 48.430
67.846, 68.513, 78.513, etc. - ghost? You do not step the soft 16ths anywhere else outside of this small segment
72.513 missing 16th
93.929 would personally jump this, hmm
100.596 single?
115.846 this part felt rather incorrect to play even on 1.0x. The only 24th sequence is at 116.763, the ones before that seem to be 16ths.
The ending jumpjack is very nice, though.
Next section generally repeats, so I won't go into lots of details about it - the previous notes apply to it (e.g. the 24ths not really being 24ths at 2.11.096).
Picking back up at 132.430, which is new.
146.846 jump
148.430 ^
149.513 ^
151.096 ^ - you get the point
162.263 this is the perfect place for some kind of color gimmick or clever patterning arrangement to represent the percussion cutting out tbh
That aside, this section (ending at 163.596) is excellent, really fun and a highlight.
173.596 Given how staunchly you've been following the piano for PR and layering, to have these consecutive same jumps when the piano chord is clearly different each time felt like a break
184.263 this is closer to what I expected
184.930-187.596 A+
227.096 jump?
227.263 jump?
228.096 should be lower than preceding jump?
231.513 missing 16th
This last part is honestly pretty repetitive at this point :|
Massive difficulty spike in the jumpstream near the end (considering you didn’t layer in jumps during the 180bpm streams with the 123123123 patterns earlier on, this is a weirdly uncontrolled segment).
Overall, my thoughts on this file haven't changed all that much since I saw it briefly a few months back. The general structure is solid, the heavy focus on pure jump layering according to piano only in general is a bold and admirable choice, and many sections are lots of fun to play.
CQ: The key things to fix before this goes into the game are just the minute technicalities that could do with some cleanup: in particular, making sure that all 24ths in the chart are really 24ths (a good number of them aren't, and I think you're aware of this), as well as ensuring that all necessary jumps to piano chords are picked out/any missing 16ths to the piano are also picked out. Also, take a look again at the ending – that full on 180 jumpstream that ends in a split jumpjack feels somewhat out-of-place considering you carefully control for difficulty earlier in the file.
No requirement for a cut, even though I think you're aware based on feedback even outside of mine that this file could reallllly do with one - at 3-3:30, this would be a gold standard (an actual 10/10) with the technicals fixed up, but at this length and with this much repetition, I personally feel it drags on quite a bit and will detract from replayability when it goes in-game.
